CJ HetBahn Cooked White Rice

Tastes just like freshly cooked rice!

Harvested and carefully selected rice is kept in constant 59F degrees to maintain freshness until cooking.

The rice is then cooked within 24 hours of milling, so it tastes just like it was freshly cooked.

It’s then sealed using high pressure and high temperature in a ‘clean room’, where no dust or bacteria can enter the product, resulting in fresh cooked rice that last for up to 9 months.

Does Hetbahn Contain Any Preservative?

No. The products are sterilized with high-pressure and high-temperature steam and then immediately sealed for maximum freshness. The container and plastic film covering are designed to prevent air from entering so that the products can be stored safely at room temperature.

Is It Safe to Microwave?

Yes! The container and plastic film covering are made with BPA-free plastic so you can be assured that it is safe. You can either heat it in the microwave or in boiling water and it is still completely safe.

How Do I Store HetBahn?

Hetbahn can be stored in your pantry at room temperature. There is no need to refrigerate or freeze it. We recommend to keep it in a cool area, away from sunlight. If there is a tear in the top plastic film covering, the product may be contaminated. Please discard if this occurs. Once opened and heated, store leftover rice in an air-tight container (the quality and texture of the rice may change once reheated outside of our container). It is recommended to consume the product within 24 hours of opening and heating.
